According to WPB, the 20th China Bitumen Trading Conference, organized by Enmore Infotech, will take place on November 4–5, 2026, in Guangzhou, China, bringing together leading producers, refiners, international traders, importers, and industry professionals to discuss changing supply patterns and emerging opportunities across the global bitumen market.
This year's conference comes amid significant changes in China's bitumen industry, driven by refinery feedstock constraints, shifting import sources, and evolving demand across Asian markets. Discussions will focus on domestic production, pricing trends, import and export developments, and the outlook for road construction demand under China's 15th Five-Year Plan.
International trade will be a central theme, with dedicated sessions examining bitumen supply and demand in Southeast Asia, India, and Africa, alongside trade flows involving the Middle East, South Korea, and Russia. The program will also address refinery feedstock availability and the use of futures and options for managing market risks.
The conference will open on November 4 with a dedicated supply-and-demand matchmaking session designed to connect manufacturers, suppliers, buyers, and logistics providers. On November 5, industry presentations and market discussions will examine China's domestic market and international trading opportunities.
World of Petroleum and Bitumen (WPB) is participating as the conference's Media Partner and Middle East Marketing Associate, supporting the event's international promotion and facilitating connections between Middle Eastern industry participants and the Chinese bitumen market.
As the industry navigates changing trade routes, supply challenges, and new commercial opportunities, the Guangzhou conference will provide a platform for direct business discussions and cooperation among companies operating across the bitumen supply chain.
