WPB – World of Petroleum & Bitumen has released its latest October bitumen prices for the second week of October 2026, showing a global market that remains highly fragmented rather than moving in one direction.
The latest October bitumen prices reveal a stable Iranian market, a softer Iraqi reference and another round of moderate increases across several important Asian markets. Singapore, China, South Korea, India and Indonesia all moved higher, while Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Turkey and several European CFR assessments remained broadly stable.
The second-week October bitumen prices therefore reinforce one of the most important features of the current global bitumen market: regional supply, refinery availability, freight, local demand and replacement costs are becoming more important than any single global benchmark.
Iran remains one of the most closely watched markets in the latest October bitumen prices assessment.
Iranian 60/70 drum remains at USD 355–360/MT EXW factory and USD 395–400/MT FOB Bandar Abbas. Jumbo bag remains at USD 380–385/MT FOB, while flexi tank is assessed at USD 370–375/MT FOB Bandar Abbas.

Iraq is one of the clearest downward movers in the latest October bitumen prices.
Iraqi 60/70 drum is revised to USD 335/MT ±5 EXW factory and USD 385/MT ±5 FOB, while jumbo bag falls to USD 320–325/MT EXW.

Iraqi 60/70 drum is revised to USD 335/MT EXW and USD 385/MT FOB. Jumbo bag is aligned at USD 320-325/MT EXW, preserving a USD 10-15/MT discount to the factory-gate drum price.
The softer Iraq bitumen price creates a stronger contrast with neighboring Iran, where FOB Bandar Abbas drum remains at USD 395–400/MT. The current structure also preserves a USD 10–15/MT discount between jumbo bag and factory-gate drum material.
Singapore continues to strengthen in the latest October bitumen prices.
Singapore 60/70 bulk rises to USD 762/MT ±5 FOB Singapore, while drum reaches USD 832/MT ±5 FOB.

The USD 7/MT weekly increase reflects tight spot availability and refinery feedstock constraints. The established USD 70/MT premium between drum and bulk remains unchanged.
The Singapore bitumen price remains particularly important because the market continues to act as a major regional reference point for Southeast Asian replacement costs.
China also moves higher in the latest October bitumen prices, with all listed 60/70 drum CFR assessments increasing by USD 5/MT.
Chinese bitumen prices now range from USD 720/MT ±5 CFR Chongqing to USD 730/MT ±5 CFR Tianjin.

The domestic increase reflects firmer local replacement costs while Mediterranean CFR values remain stable.
The second-week October bitumen prices confirm that Asia remains the strongest part of the global market.
Singapore and South Korea each increased by USD 7/MT, China added USD 5/MT across all listed destinations, India gained USD 10/MT across its 60/70 drum CFR assessments, and Indonesia also increased by USD 10/MT.
At the same time, the Middle East remains divided. Iran is stable, Iraq moves lower, Jebel Ali is unchanged and Mersin holds its previous level.
European October bitumen prices are also increasingly split between stable import benchmarks and firmer domestic replacement costs. German and Spanish CFR values remain unchanged while domestic ranges increase, and Italy shows a similar domestic rise.
The overall global bitumen market therefore continues to show selective regional repricing rather than a synchronized global move.
WPB continues to monitor October bitumen prices, global bitumen prices, Iran bitumen price, India bitumen price, China bitumen price, Singapore bitumen price, Iraq bitumen price, 60/70 bitumen price, VG30 price, FOB bitumen prices, CFR assessments and regional market developments.
